With rapid development in our economy and the human resource market, the phenomenon of employee turnover has emerged distinctly. Although the phenomenon of labor turnover is few to see 20 years before, it has evolved a big issue to hinder the development of our enterprises. As the first industry opening to the outside world, the hospitality industry has also been impacted firstly. Currently, high rate of employee turnover in hospitality industry not only affects hotel management, but also brings negative influence to the development of hospitality. Therefore, it is so important to carry out research on the issue of employee turnover in hospitality that we can find out the deep causes of turnover, and measures to retain hotel employees.Based on the turnover theories and models home and abroad, by analysis of the characteristics and situations of employee turnover in hospitality in China, borrowing the qualitative results from the researches on the causes of the internal employee turnover in the hospitality industry, a model of factors is produced in this paper, which explains the antecedents of turnover intentions and the moderating variables. By this model, the hospitality industry will understand causes of employee turnover more explicitly so as to take effective measures to get this situation under control. This study aims to find out efficient measures to settle the issue of turnover, which help reduce unnecessary turnover of the hotel employees. By analysis of factors in employee turnover, from the aspects of the corporate culture, job content design, employee recruitment, career planning, training programs, salary policies and the management of employee turnover, efficient measure will be worked out to retain hotel employees successfully.
