A Study On Anhui's Strategy To Merge Into Yangtze River Delta Economy Area

At the beginning of 1990, Den Xiaoping initiated the strategy of developing the Pudong New Area. After more than ten years of effort, the Yangtze River Delta centered around Shanghai has got quickly development, become the Sixth largest city group of the world. Now, the Yangtze River Delta Economy advances the process of integration actively. Anhui province, which is adjacent to Yangtze River Delta economy area, include the process of integration is imperative.The thesis according to the Yangtze River Delta economy integration as the background of researching, discussed how to make Anhui province incorporate the Yangtze River Delta Economy Area, and bring economy takeoff. In the direction of the theory of regional economy development and industrial structure evolution, the thesis analyzed the regional and interregional economy integration, industrial structure evolution, and from the reality aspect analyzed Anhui province how to incorporating the Yangtze River Delta Economy Area.The thesis analyzed regional economic disparity between Anhui and the Yangtze River Delta Economy Area, and makeβ-convergence test. Measured the trend of regional economic disparity, by analyzed, we found that relative disparity is reduction and unconditional convergence. On the base of foregoing analysis, from the history origin, industrial structure, and geo-economic relationship, we discussed the feasibility of incorporation. With regard to existing restriction of incorporation, we discussed from interior and exterior two sides. Finality, the thesis make countermeasure and suggestions to this restrict factor.
