The Study Of Development Of Intra-industry Trade In Manufacturing Industry In China

With the development of global economy, intra-industry trade has become a new form between developed countries and developing ones. China is the biggest developing country in the world and is transformed into a strong economy. Therefore, to accelerate the development of intra-industry trade (IIT) is a must for our country. Intra-industry trade in the manufacturing fields plays an important role in the whole part. So it is quite essential to analyze this section.In the paper, the concept of intra-industry trade is first of all introduced and then the measurement of IIT and theoretical models. In the second part, a multiple regression model has been established to analyze the elements which are supposed to influence IIT in China's manufacturing fields. Based on that result, a more detailed segment method is introduced, named hieratical and vertical intra-industry trade (HHT and VIIT). Then two regression models are employed to study the variables. In the last part, some suggestions are put forward based on the results to improve China's intra-industry trade in manufacturing fields.
