The form of the Intra industry trade is due to the continuous progress of the science and the technology after the Second World War and the deepening economic globalization, which is accelerating the expand of the division of labor in society. As a result, the form of the international division of labor gradually transformed from the originally vertical division into the horizontal division of labor and at the same time the basic pattern of international trade is transforming from the inter industry trade into the intra industry trade. Given that the adjusting industry structure of the chemical fiber industry in the world and the China high-tech fiber industry of the chemical fiber industry is being accelerated, the diversification of the market demand is more obvious. China is faced with the more opportunities and also faced with the daunting task of the structural adjustment and the industrial upgrading. With the relative changes in the economic development and the national income level of the countries, the structure of industry about the country’s chemical fiber industry trade will be adjusted dynamically, and effect the overall level of the intra industry trade.Firstly, in terms of the relevant theory of the intra-industry, with reference to the research achievements home and abroad, on the fundamental of the scientific definition of the industrial classification and the conception of the intra industry trade, by combining the static and dynamic analysis method, index analysis and quantitative analysis, the chemical fiber manufacturing industry trade development being as the breakthrough point to made in China, using the panel data of2003-2012years, to conduct a comprehensive measure for the chemical fiber manufacturing industry in China on the level of intra industry trade, marginal intra industry trade and the chemical fiber products and chemical fiber materials between China and his major trade partners.Secondly, the exploratory research for the trade types of China chemical fiber products industry and the trade types of china chemical fiber materials are determined by using the GHM method and Giuseppe Celi segmentation method, using three kinds of trade mode of Fukao&Ishido’s discriminant method is to revise and determine the final results of the GHM method and Giuseppe Celi subdivision method, in order to find out the internal regulations and characteristic of the intra-industry on china chemical fiber manufacturing industry.Thirdly, selecting the7affecting factors, such as the market size, Foreign direct investment, industrial added value, the GDP value of the trade partners, the import dependence of the chemical fiber products, the competitiveness index of the chemical fiber industry and the trade protection measures issued by other trade countries factors affecting imports of chemical products, chemical fiber industry’s dependence on the competitiveness index and other countries to carry out the test of the different kinds of panel model and to figure out the conclusion of the regression analysis.Last but not at least, based on the analysis and Research on the above, from the government, industry association and enterprise level, the paper makes some suggestions about the promotion of the intra-industry trade structure of the chemical fiber manufacturing industry in china.Base on the research, this paper attempt to select suitable theory of intra-industry trade for china chemical fiber manufacturing industry and guide intra-industry trade of china chemical fiber manufacturing practice, meanwhile supplement and perfect the research of manufacturing intra-industry trade model and enrich the experience of intra-industry trade research in china.
