Researchs On The Development Of Producer Service And Its Motive Influencing Factors

In the modern economy, the production and proportion of the service industry is growing increasingly, which has gradually become the fastest-developed sector as well as the focus of foreign investment, and taking more and more role in the national economy. As an important economic sector among the tertiary industry, the producer services have become an essential driving force for the economic progress, and playing an important role in promoting city's synthesized function, strengthening city's competition power and optimizing industrial structure. The level of producer services'development has been a significant indication to scale the internationalization and modernization of a region, and to a certain extent, has greatly influenced the global"service economy"trend in the future.There are a number of reasons that contribute to the rapid growth of the producer services. Based on the aggregate supply, all the economic variables, which can decide the gross production function, are important factors affecting growth of industry, such as material input, technology, human capital and so on; On the demand, those variables which can affect the aggregate demand are reflecting index of industry progress, such as market capacity, consumption, imports and exports. From the macrographic view, institutional environment, governmental policies and expenditure would also impact the service economy directly. Many studies on producer services inside and outside are generally concentrated on its relationship with manufacturing industry, economic growth and locational selection. While there is less research on the influencing factors and dynamic mechanism in the front-end of industrial chain, therefore, it becomes an imperative issue to conduct research on the driving forces, and accelerate the conversion of national economic development and progress.Based on the previous research from home and abroad, the influencing factors and dynamic mechanism of the producer services'development is summarized in the paper by using the way of factorial analysis and comparative studies, the relationship between external environmental, input elements and the industry's internal developing ability is analyzed, and the"influencing factors-industry development-economic performance"model is set up to conduct empirical research with actual data.This paper includes theoretical part and empirical part. The former includes number1, 2 and 3 chapters, emphasizing particularly on theoretical analysis of producer services, macroscopic and microscopic factors, including analysis on past papers, theory constructing and discussing of producer services, references of international metropolitan industrial development.In Chapter 1, the sum total of study on the subject, the main issues of the paper, train of thought and research methods are introduced.In Chapter 2, the relative literatures on the development of producer service and some summaries of them are reviewed, which includes the meaning, classification criterion and definitions of producer service; the theoretical analysis on the producer service industries by the scholars at home and abroad; and also the theoretical basis during the process of producer service growth, such as division of labour in society, transaction cost and outsourcing.In Chapter 3, based on the viewpoint of qualitative analysis, research and explanations on the development mechanism and influencing factors of the producer service are conducted, as well as mutual relationship and interaction of theses factors. Four main variables which have correlations with producer service are found, including manufacturing basis, business developing environment, innovation abilities and governmental actions and policies, which are put into the research framework. Meanwhile, the situation of producer service industries under changed economic conditions is also deeply analysed, by integrating the theory of economic growth and structural evolution laws of service industries.The empirical part includes number 4, 5 and 6 chapters, emphasizing mainly on empirical analysis of the influencing factors and dynamic mechanism, verification of the theoretical model, additionally there is also a comparative study on the producer services of OECD countries, industrial relation analysis of middle-demand and input based on statistical data.In Chapter 4, based on the viewpoint of quantitative analysis, the evaluation methodological framework on the influencing factors of producer service is summarized by using the structural equation model, and the logic diagram of quantitative research is set up directed at our study of the subject.In Chapter 5, the focus is on the quantitative analysis, which includes the conceptual model and research hypothesis. According to the sample data acquired, the measurement of principal dimensions and validity of the indexes is evaluated, reliability and validation tests are also conducted to establish valid structural equation model on the factors and to calculate the path coefficient and verify the research hypothesis.In Chapter 6, based on the comparative analysis of producer services in China and OECD countries, some countermeasures for boosting the industry and emphasis of governmental policies are introduced, with some suggestions directing at the existing questions to provide a source of reference for the industrial development.This paper does not seek the elegancy of the writing style, it just wishes to provide some help for the relevant studying areas. So this paper's contributions are mainly listed as follows:Firstly, relatively full collection and summary of existing research findings is gathered in this paper, which proposes analysis framework for systemic research of producer service, and provides a good reference flat for researchers on relevant domains.Second, the influencing factors of the producer service are fully analyzed in the paper, with essential variables identified, and"influencing factors-industry development-economic performance"model for the industrial development established, the three aspects are all evaluated and considered, and the increasing and developing mechanism of producer services is concluded.Third, according the input-output data, the paper compared and analyzed producer services in China and OECD countries, the input quantity and structural proportion of the different service sectors is discussed to build deeper recognition and understanding of the details, and relative developing strategies for references on the industrial developing policies are proposed.Eventually some illustrations on the contents and main conclusions are listed, and meanwhile, the related areas and subjects of producer service that is worthy for further studies and discussions are pointed out.
