Empirical Study Of The Outsourcing-undertaking Level In China And Its Impact On The Export Of China

International outsourcing is an important strategy for the multinational corporations to use the global resource and strengthen the corporations' core competence. What's more, it is also a significant method for the developing countries to take part in the international labor-division system. In the 1960s, China began to undertake the outsourcing business. With the expansion of our reform policy and the rapid development of international outsourcing market, more and more Chinese companies start the outsourcing-undertaking business. However, the domestic researches mainly just make a general description of the international outsourcing, or analyze it from the view of the management. Few academicians analyze the impact of international outsourcing on the economy of China by using the standardized method. Based on the theory of International Trade, this thesis measures the outsourcing-undertaking level of various industries of China by using the outsourcing index and analyzes the impact of the international outsourcing on the economy of China, discusses the current problems of the Chinese outsourcing-undertaking business and how to solve them, which is helpful for the development of China's outsourcing-undertaking business.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the concept, the reasons and the theory of the international outsourcing. The second part mainly analyzes the characters of the international outsourcing market. The third part is the most important part of this thesis, which measures the outsourcing-undertaking level in China by using the outsourcing index and the input-output model, analyzes the impact of international outsourcing on China's economy. The fourth part brings forward some excellent countermeasures and suggestions for the development of China's outsourcing-undertaking business.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, as a large developing country, China's outsourcing-undertaking business is rising. However, compared with the other countries, which are good at undertaking the international outsourcing business, the development of Chinese outsourcing-undertaking business is not good enough. So we should encourage the domestic companies to undertake more and more international outsourcing business, especially the service outsourcing business.Secondly, most of China's outsourcing business comes from Japan and South Korea, so we should strengthen the cooperation with more European and American corporations.Thirdly, the industry that undertakes the most international outsourcing business is the capital-intensive industry, which also makes the most contribution to the export, but not our labor-intensive industry, which we have comparative advantage. To some extent, it indicates that the international outsourcing business promoted the optimization and upgrade of our industry structure, and the relationship of China and its trading countries is relevant to the development of these countries' outsourcing business in China.
