The Research On Design Flow And Methods Of Product Design Cost Control

With the increasing need of cost management, the importance of design cost appears which should be paid much attention by the governors. In the paper, the life cycle of the product can be divided into two stages: the product development stage and the product life-cycle stage. In the product development stage, a new Objective cost management processes is given. In the demand design stage combining objective cost methods a new cost control methods is proposed, namely the importance and competition of demand comprehensive score. In the product design stage, the cost control focus on three aspects, the application of the mature circuits, components selection and quality assurance. Different cost control methods are given in each aspect. In the product life-cycle stage we established a new cost control process. In the paper, the design flow and methods of cost management are given to improve product quality, short product development period, reduce the cost of goods etc.
