Consumption composition is an important part of economic composition, reflects the consumption contents, and the consumption levels and consumption quality, and the consumption situation. Therefore, to study the Consumption composition is of significance both in theory and in practice. The purpose that the social produces is the material culture which increases increasingly for the sake of the contented people' s crowd demand, so the problem of consume is placed in the whole national economy to close the most important position. For these years, the town residents' living level of Henan had a significant exaltation, people's crowd's demand to life no longer limited at to eat only satisfied wear warm,and be developing toward the higher level,the consumption hobby of different stratums and different consumers also express more and more difference. This kind of variety which consumes realm makes us discover the growth of only consumer goods total amount isn't enough, we have to take into from the structure excellent turn, then can be real to satisfy people's various consumption needs.The theme of this dissertation is to study the evolvement of consumption composition of Henan town households, the author improves the expend linear expenditure system so that it can be applied to in empirical analysis. And study carefully the income elasticity of demand, Basic living needs of residents and marginal consumption of Henan town households. At the same time, by using of active and passive way to elaborate the consumption structure of town residents. This paper uses the Gray System Theory to analysis a variety of economic factors impact -ing the consumption structure,and sorts their level of importance.So the author find out the key issue impacting of the consumption structure of town residents in Henan Province. Finally the author presents some suggestions for the Henan macroeconomic policy-making.
