The Effect Of Multinational Companies Investments On Economy Development Of Sichuan Province

As the expedition of economic globalization, the investments by Multinational Companies are becoming the very important part of regional growth. The investments of Multinational Companies are the great driving force in the span development of Eastern China. They make great effects in every parts of economy which from governments policies making, employments growth, exports development to improving management and technology even to domestic corporations to investment to overseas. So it is necessary to pay more attention to the investments by Multinational Companies in Western China. To analyze the relationship between the regional growth of western provinces and the investments by Multinational Companies is useful for the western provinces to make good use of foreign investments in their developments. Sichuan, as a big economic province, has make breakthrough in attracting foreign investments. This paper takes Multinational Companies in Sichuan province as research object, analyzes the series affects that the investment especially the direct investment by Multinational Companies have on Sichuan economy especially on economy growth, export, technology development, headquarters economy development. The results show us that the investment is helpful on the development in such areas. Otherwise, it also analyzes the going on and possible affects that may pull back the economy development. At last, it gives some suggestions on how to make good use of foreign investment to development the economy of Sichuan province.Firstly, this paper expresses the theories about Multinational Companies and the regional growth as well as the advanced research in this area. Chapter 2 analyzes the condition and characteristic about the Multinational Companies' investments in Sichuan province including the investment size, countries, industries, mode and headquarters economy and so on. Chapter 3 gives the studies about the contributes that Multinational Companies' investment makes on Sichuan province economy especially in economy growth, export, technology advancement, headquarters economy and so on. There are also some negatives on economy that they are described in chapter 4 in which some are happening in Sichuan province and others are taking place in other areas besides Sichuan province. At last it gives some suggestions on how to make good use of foreign investments to promote the economy growth of Sichuan province.
