Along with our country's economics fast development, the High-way construction, in addition the northward rerouting of southern river, the transportation of the natural gas from the west to the east, the Olympic Games project and so on big projects are implemented, the heavy automobile productions by its the vital role which displays in these engineering projects, day by day receives national and society's value, the market demand also year by year grows. However, along with our country joins the World Trade Organization, the international heavy automobile companies enter our country's market gradually, this will cause the competition of the heavy automobile market to become more intense. The XM HEAVY DUTY AUTOMOBILE CO.,LTD is one of the domestic large-scale heavy automobile production enterprises and has the certain competitive advantage at present, but XM HEAVY DUTY AUTOMOBILE CO.,LTD also face the competition of the international companies and domestic enterprises, as to XM HEAVY DUTY AUTOMOBILE CO.,LTD, the question which is urgent need to be solved is how to formulate and execute correct product strategy to gain the sustainable competitive advantage. The paper tries to supply the scientific foundation to the development and the decision of XM HEAVY DUTY AUTOMOBILE CO.,LTD.The paper uses the PEST analyses way, the model of five competition forces and the EFE matrix to analyses and assess the macroscopic environment and the competition condition of the resin management, then the paper analyses the market chances and threatens. By the establishing the SWOT, the paper selects the production strategy and by using the QSPM matrix analyses model of the resin, the paper ascertains that the production strategy is the production development strategy.
