Many scholars pay more attention to industrial clusters phenomenon and study it from varied angles. With the improvement of the theory, the practice application is also gradually moved towards mature. In our country, more and more regions attempt to develop area economy with the aid of industrial clusters, some regions develop well and others move toward decline. Therefore, the important problem is how to master connotation and characteristic of industrial clusters, analysis the competitive advantage and function, judge the life cycle stage characteristics, promote the industrial clusters' development and maintain sustainable development.Revolves this question, the author attempts to discuss the industrial colony froma new angle-bionomics angle, then research the question from the similarity ofindustrial colony and ecosystem by using the theory of economic and management, and establish three models to illustrate the method: industry clusters' competition model, mutualism model and ecology chain nutrition model. There are six chapters in this thesis. In the first chapter, the author elaborates research goal and significance, and then points out research content and analysis frame. In the second chapter, the author introduces industrial clusters' concept, characteristic and conceptual model. Mainly introduce the diamond model, the elastic specialization model, the global value chain model, the gather efficiency model and the GEM model. In the third chapter, the author extends the ecology to industrial clusters, analyzes the biological colony effect from the ecology angle, then compared the ecology with industrial clusters and analyzes the competition strategy. On the base of above paragraphs, in the fourth chapter, the author establishes the bionomical models according to three kinds of relationships: competition, mutual benefit and chain relation, then carry on the solution of each model and analyze the balance point. In the fifth chapter, the author obtains the influence factors of ecological equilibrium through analyze the balance point, and then points out the competitive advantage, which include three aspects: cost superiority, innovation superiority and cooperation superiority. The last chapter is summary of the full thesis, the author considers industrial clusters have the same characters with biological population and the relationship among enterprises is similar with it among biological units in some ecological environment. Although there is competition among enterprises, cooperation is more important. If we clearly mastered the competitive advantages and restriction factors which influence balance and development of enterprises in industrial clusters, policymakers would better utilize the competitive advantages, promote the development of enterprises and sustainable development of industrial clusters ecosystem.
