Along with the economical globalization and the information age's coming, the enterprises are facing more and more intense market competition from home and abroad. In order to enhance their competitive ability, many enterprises through the performance management to upgrade performance,so as to reach a strategic target.The author takes S corporation an example. Due to the fact that there is a big gap between the sales performance and performance target of the corporation during the 2nd quarter of 2006, in order to enhance the sales performance, the corporation specially established a performance improvement team .The author, as a manager of performance management, leads the team members to carry out the investigations Firstly, the author analyzed and defined the unreached key factors affecting the sales performance through enterprise performance index decomposition system. Secondly, the author leads the team members to analyze the main factors. The research methods of interviews, questionnaires and on-site survey are used; From five aspects, i.e. personnel, machineries, materials, methodologies and environment are analyzed comprehensively, and the improvement plan for performance management and flow improvement are made. Finally, the implementation is done during the 3rd quarter and the good results are got. The sales performance of the corporation is increased significantly.The author thinks that the enterprise performance management shall be put forward continuously and deeply, which will improve the product quality significantly, upgrade the sales performance, finally to reach a strategic target of the enterprise. Therefore, the improved practice has been concluded based on the actual operation, pushing the establishment of the project. It will make the performance management of S Corporation sustainable and circulative up-forward, and realize the in-depth and constant dynamic management.
