The Study Of Chinese Commercial Banks' Internal Control

With the globalization of financial industry,financial risk is increasingly prominent, which not only influence the subsistence and development of commercial banks, but also influence the stabilization of national and international economics. From a great deal of banking crises and turbulence ,people generally realized that it is very important to built an inner-control system accord with the business and size of the commercial banks in order to guard the financial risk and smooth the financial regime reform in China.The paper illustrates in an integrative manner issues pertaining to the internal control of the Chinese commercial banks through five parts: (1) introduction of the research scope and methodology; (2) basic theories on the internal control of commercial banks; (3) a brief review of the progress made by the Chinese commercial banks on their internal control,and remaining challenges;(4) analysis on how to set up an internal control system for the Chinese commercial banks; The author has expected that the research results would be a valuable addition to the fast development of further strengthening the internal control of the Chinese commercial banks.
