TI Automotive is the only global supplier of fully integrated fuel storage and delivery systems for cars and trucks and the leading supplier of fluid carrying systems for braking and power train applications to automakers worldwide. The brake and fuel business can reach 50 percent market share of global light car market. Simultaneity, due to a stagnant growth in Europe and North American auto market, the global performance mainly lie on Asia Pacific business increase.Since TI Automotive has entered into China Auto market in 1985. From firstly material supply changed to components and parts delivery. Of which the brake and fuel business reach at 50 to 55 percent market share in China on 2003.TI Automotive Fluid Carry Sysem (Herence"TI China") now has included 1 tube making plant and seven system plants that located close of OEMs. Our production has included brake and fuel line, engineer tube and air condition tube. The external saels to customers have exceeded RMB700m in 2007 and now total employees are 1400.The blank market of Japonic automobile and swift growth of these cars in recently years, the market share in China has dropped down to 44 to 49 percent to year 2007. How to use China automobile boom market and manufacture advantage to get a rapid and unfaltering development after ten years is key topic for ours.This dissertation will have a fully analysis through outer environment and inner structure of automobile industry on brake and fuel lines for TI Automotive. I have used the PEST and Baud's 5P models in this article to find out the opportunities and threaten. Also find out the advantage and inferior position after analyze self resource and competitors'performance. Secondly, find out the strategic direction for opportunities and threaten; advantage and inferior position through key environment change influence. The SWOT analytical models have been used for this point. Finally, give detailed strategic depictions on our production, technology, operation, cost and human resource for TI Automotive China.On the data source side, due to specialization and open-eyed data limited, many data for this text are come from our company. As for competitors, the data mainly come from network. The automobile and components and parts information are come from relative magazines and newspaper.In the hope of through this text analysis, give a clear and methodic strategic suggestion on brake and fuel line business for TI Automotive China before the new important competition coming. Built a sustaining and reigning position of industry on automobile parts supply for the coming 5 to 10 years.
