The implementation of the strategy for the development of the western region is a great act which will help to develop the western economy, advance our country's modern construction and national economy's sustainable development, and how to switch the resource advantage to development advantage in the spacious western regions appears to be a significant task at present. In recent years, the geologic great investigation and strategic mineral reconnaissance have acquired plenty of achievements in the western region. On the premise of enormous breakthroughs having been obtained concerning important minerals'investigation and evaluations in some regions, a great many minerals resources take-over regions have already come into being in the west now. This thesis places emphasis on researching the economic social development and trend prediction of the middle-south resources take-over regions in Inner Mongolia Autonomous, in order to understand the current development level in these regions, make sure of its developing advantage and disadvantage , that will provide the scientific,theoretic suggestions for further implement for the strategy for the development of the western region, and also boost economic development in these regions.Based on the theory of industry economics, district economics and city development, the thesis drew lessons from many research experience of the domestic and international scholars regarding the economy social comprehensive evaluation, adopted both quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis in virtue of the Statistics. At the same time the thesis mainly applied the factorization method, trend out-push model and other related models of the industrial structure theory in the quantitative analysis. As for the compute process, SPSS13.0 statistics analysis software and Excel 2003 application statistics software were preferred.This thesis made a comprehensive evaluation for the middle-south resources take-over regions in Inner Mongolia Autonomous, and every index data was gained by weighted mean calculating which covered Balinzuo Qi , Balinyou Qi, Linxi County, Kshiketeng Qi, Xiwu Qi..The research conclusion contained 3 aspects:(1)The development of the resources take-over region during the recent ten years has been fasting, however, there still existed an immense gap between its develop level and national one;(2)I discover lots of unreasonable phenomena , such as local farmers' living standard should be advanced, the strength of science and technology seemed to be much week, the industry structure appeared unreasonable, the exploitation and relying on local mineral resources had been excess;(3)After analyzing and researching the prediction results from the resources take-over regions, I affirm that the advanced speed of every county in these regions also had enormous differences.At last, this thesis proposed some suggestions and countermeasures that aimed at the results with regard to comprehensive evaluation and trend prediction.
