In the era of knowledge-based economy, brands are playing increasingly important roles of the management and administration of enterprises, furthermore, a growing number of companies compete each other by their brands, and the success of many companies rely on their brand competitiveness. China's PC enterprises lackof core technology--CPU technology and operating systems, and have topurchase the accessories and components of PC products from American firms for being manipulated by them in many ways. On the one hand, the price wars are used uninterruptedly by all kinds of Chinese PC brands without difference in China's market. On the other hand, China's PC market is being invaded by some multinational corporations by right of core technology and famous brands. Therefore, the domestic PC business at a disadvantage is in the fierce competition with them nowadays.To direct the management and administration of Chinese PC enterprises and develop China's PC industry, the paper attempts to construct a model for analyzing the brand competitiveness factors of PC enterprises firstly. Then, to find the existing problems, the actuality of the brand competitiveness of China's PC enterprises will be analyzed according to the latest information as possible. What's more, the causes will be searched by analyzing the problems. Finally, some countermeasures based on the above analyses will be found, such as training outstanding employees, technological innovation alliance, mergers and acquisitions strategy, differences in strategy and developing enterprise culture.
