The Research Of Residential Electricity Market And Exploitation Strategy Based On Elasticity Analysis Theory

With the development of economy and adjustment of economic structure in China, residentialelectricity consumption has increasingly been boosting. The proportion of the residential electricityconsumption in total electricity consumption has risen gradually. Therefore, it is necessary to investigatethe residential electricity market. The paper analyses the relationship between the residential electricityconsumption and influencing factors, including residential income, electricity price, alternative energy,home electrical appliances, seasonal influence, electricity supply service, etc, and sets up a demandfunction regarding the average amount of the residential electricity. The effect of residential electricityconsumption has also been analyzed based on elasticity analysis regarding to the electricity price andincome. Finally, theory has been integrated with practice in empirical study of residential electricity marketin one province. The primary exploitation strategy of residential electricity market is set down.
