The Study Of Impaction And Tourism Economical Impact For The Turpan Grape Festival

Great interests and high degree of attentions for festivals and festival tourism, which are on countries and tourist destinations in the world, date from the festive extensive and in-depth the impact and role. A powerful appeal of the festivals can make an"explosive"increase of reputation on destinations in a short period of time. The festival impacts and its assessment studies are an important part of the festivals and on the forefront of one of the topics.This paper took the"Turpan Grape Festival on China Silk Road"(i.e. the Turpan Grape Festival) as an example, and carried out the research from the festival impact which is the more mature and has more literatures in this study.On the basis of the brief introduction of the research background, the significance of research, the situation of the international and domestic research, and the thinking of the research, this paper summarized the core concepts and relevant theories of the festivals. The paper made clear concepts of the festivals, events and festivals tourism. This paper mainly introduced the related theory of the festivals: the important role that festival played in the process for building the local brand, and the"1234"pattern for a better interaction between the festivals and the development of destinations.With a view to intimate relations between the festivals and the media reports, Impaction Index Model, which is used for the research of the relation between the Turpan Grape Festival and the mass media, is set up using a content analysis of communication studies to assess the indirect impact of the Turpan Grape Festival. There come out the impaction laws of the Turpan Grape Festival on time, space and content.According to the background trend of tourism development, with the thinking of the festivals impact as starting point, this paper, using the Tourism Background Trend Line, analyzed the direct impact of the Turpan Grape Festival. It evaluated the impact value of total tourism income, total tourist and Gross Domestic Production of the Turpan Grape Festival to the Turpan Prefecture quantitatively. According to analyzing the above–mentioned researches, this article pointed out the policy recommendations of the continuous development for the Turpan Grape Festival in the future.Finally, this paper summarized the main conclusions and traits, put forward questions and made the prospect of research.
