| The manufacturing industry is the material basis of the national economy and the main part of the industrialization, as well as the power of social development and enrichment of the people. For the sake of development and security, any of the major industrialized countries will treat the development and upgrading of the manufacturing industry as a national strategy. Highly developed equipment manufacturing industry is a prerequisite to achieve industrialization, it is also an important symbol of the national comprehensive competition.In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, Chinese manufacturing industry has made great progress, but there still exists a lot of problems, for example, compared with the world's major powers, their production efficiency levels still fall behind.In this essay we analyze the status of Chinese manufacturing industry and the productivity of Chinese manufacturing industry by using Stochastic Frontier Approach through the research on the selected typical representative enterprises, and draw the conclusion that the private enterprises' productivity efficiency is higher than the state-owned enterprises. Based on ranking the chosen manufacturing industry enterprises' efficiency we studied the productivity efficiency differences between each enterprise, trying to find the impact factors of manufacturing productivity efficiency and analyze the hierarchical weight by using Analytic Hierarchy Process, and eventually the corresponding solution is proposed. At last, we made a brief analysis of the approach to increase the efficiency of manufacturing productivity. |
