In modern enterprise, various goods in stock tie up great holding cost. So it is important to control the storage and tradeoff the inventory costs with inventory benefits.The goods deterioration affect the goods stock policy.this is also when we research deterioration goods stock policy must consider, the goods deterioration causes the goods quality and quantity changes, each time orders, if did not consider that will deteriorate this factor to cause the existing stock not to be able to satisfy the demand, will cause the service level to drop.moreover the goods deterioration also increased the ordering plan complexity.When the inventory deterioration rate is the constant,market demand is an important factor in determining inventory management strategy. When demand is certainty, we can divide it into several sets according to difference of market demand: market demand rate is fixed;market demand rate is a function of time;market demand rate is a function of price;market demand rate is a function of stocks, and so on.In order to make the inventory model closer to reality and with higher availability, in addition to researches above, we made a further expansion of the model: market demand rate is a function of both time and stocks. According to this suppose we establish the inventory model of deteriorating items.In many existing articles the deterioration rate is supposed to be constant. But there are few articles assume that deterioration rate changes. So it needs to be further expanded. In this article we will do some research about the description of deterioration rate and according to it we establish inventory models of deteriorating items.
