With the development of computer and the emergence of integrated logistics systems research, the optimization problems in logistics field especially location-routing-inventory problems generally become one of core of study problem. In the whole logistics system of petrochemical industry, there is a great difference in the management of oil logistics between our country and developed countries. Establishing the modern oil distribution system becomes a directrion of the development. Nowadays there are only alone studies about the locations, the inventory control and the vehicle routing for oil distribution in logistics system. However, there are close relation among three of them. So it is necessary to study the integrated optimization for three of them. Up to now, there not any scholars who study the integrated optimization linking three of them for oil distribution system. On the background, this paper carries on emphasized research on the LRIP based on oil distribution system on the basis of summarizing the knowledge about LRIP and breifly introducing the knowledge about oil distribution system.First, the LRIP based on the single oil distribution is discussed and studied, and the relative mathematical mode is formulated. Due to the problem is a NP-hard, a mixed heuristic algorithm to solve this problem is proposed. Then, some test data is given to testify the problem and the case analysis is made. Secondly, on the basis of the model and algorithm about the single oil distribution, the LRIP based on the multi-product oil distribution is dicussed and studied, and the relative mathematical model is formulated. Due to the problem is also a NP-hard, a mixed heuristic algorithm similar to the above algorithm about the single oil distribution is proposed to solve this problem. Then, some test data is given to testify the problem and the case analysis is made. At last, on the basis of the inventory control decision and the vehicle transportation routes arrangement on the tactical layer, the location decision is gained on the strategic layer. Through the reasonablity analysis of the case result, that is the cost analyse between them of three and the figure analyse about the case result, the feasibility about the case results got demonstrated. Finally, the content of this article is summarized, pointing to the lack in this article and the research direction in the future. Now the study of oil distribution sytem as a new field is an early phase, this paper will have certain theoretic and practical value in the research.
