With the development of Chinese Economy, the relation between workers and corporations are becoming more and more complicated. The rights of workers urgently need to be meliorated. And the cheap labor cost which was an advantage for a long time is greatly enhancing. The emergence of SA8000 has an active impact on this situation. Corporations should take their social accountabilities to solve the present social problems, which is becoming more and more severe with the economy globalization. So the study of how the corporations fulfill their responsibilities is compelling.The main research of this thesis includes:(1)Though studying the evolvement process of the thoughts of corporate social accountability (CSR), the thesis discusses the notion of CSR in Chinese construction industry. Then fundamental knowledge of SA8000 is introduced.(2)Though analyzing the cheap bidding cost of construction corporate, the thesis suggests the owners should observe the regulation of laws in the bidding process such as compiling the bidding documents and accessing the bid to prevent the biding price of contractors are lower than their cost.(3)Though proposing the AHP model, the thesis helps the owners rank behaviors of contractors. The best contractor can be chosen by this method. The model could solve the situations witch can not be precisely calculated for lacking efficient number.(4)Though comparing with SA8000, the thesis gives a valid way by witch the construction corporations could establish their own CSR system to control their CSR practice.In sum, CSR is vital to the construction industry. It can adjust the relationship between workers and construction corporations for it is a advanced management concept.
