Research On Tendency And Solutions Of Industry Transfer In Yangtze River Delta

After two decades'unbalanced development, there have been evident economic grads in China. Industry transfer between different regions is increasingly needed. As the economic engine of China, Yangtze River Delta barges up against serious problems during the economic development, such as resource scarcity, similarity industry structure and excessive cluster of industry. Industry transfer is called for to achieve the rationalization of industry structure. Meanwhile, some depressed areas have to accelerate the development of economy through continuing the industry transfer of developed regions. Consequently, it makes great sense to study the industry transfer tendency of Yangtze River Delta.On the basis of analyzing literature of industry transfer in and abroad, the thesis studies the tendency and countermeasure of Yangtze River Delta's industry transfer through 28 industries of manufacturing. First, it estimates the economy status of Yangtze River Delta and concludes factors arousing industry transfer, including factor proportions, industry structure, industrial cluster and government policy. Then, after ascertaining the industry grads of Yangtze River Delta is higher than other regions, it makes quantitative analysis about the 28 industries with CES Method and Shift-Share Method from three different dimensionalities and gains the result that nine industries, including manufacture of textile, manufacture of foods, should transfer to other areas. At last, it divides the former transfer of nine industries into four types, natural resource oriented, labor oriented, market oriented and industry base oriented. During the process of industry transfer, Yangtze River Delta should choose ideal areas for different types of industry; the government should constitute logical industry policy and regional development mechanism to harmonize the industry transfer between Yangtze River Delta and Middle, West Region.
