The traditional knowledge of TCM is the soul of Chinese civilization, it has a great deal of cultural and commercial value .Today, these knowledge resources were exploited greatly by some developed countries such as Japan, Korea and American, for they occupied a dominant position in funds and technology .Our traditional knowledge resources were occupied by them, while we got no rewards and had to protect their intellectual property rights. Biopiracy coming from western countries is very serious now. Facing this status, we should do something! We should take measures to protect these resources well and make good use of them. But what measure is best? Scholars in the deferent field are trying their best to find out the Countermeasures .Protecting and exploiting the traditional knowledge of TCM well is meaningful in our age .The aim of this article is to explore solutions to settle out the question.Some concepts which are mentioned in the article are explained one by one.
