Study On The Path Of Modern Agricultural Development In Karst Area

From traditional agriculture to modern agriculture is the objective development trend of agriculture in the world. Agriculture development in Karst areas is puzzled with the socio-economic backwardness and the fragile ecological environment. These areas are not only suffering from the inconvenient transportation, low economic development level, lagging out social development, but also from fragile ecology and frequent natural disaster. The agricultural production condition is very poor. This paper is base on Bijie region, the typical karst region in south China, for example, to exploring the road of development of modern agriculture. Provide some guidance theory and practice for Bijie region in construction of ecological environment, sustainable agricultural development and out of poverty in rural areas.This paper analyses the agricultural development level of Bijie region in use statistics and comparison. Now, in this region, these are some problems in agricultural development: 1)An irrational industrial structure of agriculture,2) The lower level of processing of agricultural products, and economic efficiency is not high,3) Sharp contradictions between people and land, and over-cultivation of arable land,4) The rural labor force to accept the low level of education,5) The income of the farmers in low levels, and the spending power is not high,6) Deterioration of the agro-ecological environment. Address these problems in Bijie region, this paper presents a Ecological Agriculture is an inevitable choice for the development of agriculture.With the actual situation in Bijie region, this paper presents the idea of building modern agriculture. This is to build the ecological agricultural system, this system including the model of ecological agriculture, ecological agricultural technology system, ecological agriculture-control system, as well as building some key contents. This paper pointed out that the development of ecological agriculture needed to be adjusted following four relationships: 1)the relationship between the readjustment of agriculture structure and food production, 2) the relationship between the scale-run and family-run, 3)the relationship between the agricultural development and urbanization, 4)the relationship between the agriculture and environment coordinated development.Finally, this paper presents some policy advices about promote the development of modern agriculture.
