Study On Relationship Between Evolution Of Governance Structure And Family Firm Growth

The family firm have long-aged history which can be trace back to Jing Dynasty in our country, modern family firm generate in eighties tide during the reform and openness of our country. The family firm mushroom like bamboo shoots after a spring rain has produced and prompt development, that have made important contribution to our country development of the economy . But, from the data of family firm in our country we found it have faced prombles of"governance structure and company growth", This shows mainly in two respects :First , enterprise grow up with persistence,family firm can not grow enough when it developing to certain scale, life-span lacks and comparatively ; Second , during entrepreneurship period. enterprise owner and dyadic single-side of clan governed structure for enterprise has provided the high-effect development pattern,but this structure and pattern have become the obstacle in enterprise developing.The life cycle of family firm include entrepreneurship period, growth period and mature period, also many family experience inherits period. Judging from the condition of governance structure development, it experience as follows several stages: The owner individual owns all enterprise controlling power and proprietary right; owner and their clan has enterprise controlling power and proprietary right completely; owner and their clan has the most enterprise proprietary right and the controlling power and the clan own part controlling power and proprietary right. After analyzed the growth of family firm during its govern structure evolution, we found property right was the most important factor in family firm growing, which also was the enterprise governs the structure the main constituent.In the research process, we have used the comparison analytic method, the case analytic method, the quota and the qualitative analytic method and so on.From the four latitude of the relevance changing by growing up with governing structure to the family firm, property latitude , managing latitude , organization and clan latitude of each stages growing up in enterprise change analyse , confirmed our research conclusion with the case. Then we conclude that governance structure evolution play an important factors in promoting growth of family firm.
