Comparative Study Of The 20th Century's Toughts Of Developing The Northwest In China

The 20^th century can be divided into two 50 years' history by the founding of People's Republic of China. In the history of 100 years, Chinese society character has changed from semi-colonical, semi-feudal to socialism. Meanwhile, the central government alternated several times. At the begining, the Late Qing Dynasty replaced by the Republic of China , then the People's Republis of China took place of the Republic of China. However, all the three central goverments have held their own thoughts of developing the norhtwest and carried out some practise of developing, which made the northwest development has attracted highly attention several times in the 20^th century.In this paper, the writer in the virtue of regioanl economics theory and the development economics theory focuses on the comparative study of thoughts of developing the northwest in 20^th century from the point of history. Aimed to get some disciplinary cognition and find the internal logic of the thoughts by the expatiation on the main contents of each thoughts and the contrast of the differences of the each thoughts, then offer something useful for development of northwest.The paper includes four parts.First part, introduction. the evolvement of the "northwest", develop, development thoughts are clearly defined. Review the thoughts of developing northwest for the middle period of the Qing Dynasty. And the research actuality of the subject is stated.Second part, the forming setting and main content of the thoughts of developing the northwest in several periods in the 20^th century of China are stated.Third part, the thoughts of developing the northwest in each period in the 20^th century of China are compositively compared.The last part, conclusion. The core content of each thoughts of developing the northwest in 20^th century is to realize the modernization of the northwest region, the strategy of developing the western region is the sublimation of the thougts of developing the northwest.
