With the improvement of people's standard of living, people are paying attention to their quality of living.They are giving more and more attention to keeping living quality not debased and strengthening the anti-risk ability of both individual and family. To transfer individual and family risk to commercial insurers., as the best way of risk elusion, has been increasingly favored by people. Meanwhile, over the past nine and twenty years since the reform and opening up, our economy has grown at a striking rate of 9% year by year. In 2007 our GDP per person rose to over $2,000, which means our people has been economically capable of dealing with individual risk. In reality, however, there's something strange around, i.e. the extraordinarily low rate of the insured against huge demand for individual life insurance. Why is it? How to resolve it? These are of research significance of this article.From the perspective of individual risk management and with individual life insurance market as a starting point, this article will start from the introduction of MSL's basic circumstance and then move to analysis of the expanding actualities and environment of its life insurance operation. Finally it will put forward MSL's stratagem and measure in this respect so as to be of some guidance for life insurance operation expanding practice of MSL and be of some help and reference for that of China as well.
