| This paper chooses to study the dynamic development of Xinjiang industy , and tries to analyze the characteristics of Xinjiang industrial leading industry.Based on leading industry theory , methods such as dynamic analysis , qualitative analysis , quantitative analysis and comparative analysis are used to anlyze the development of Xinjiang industry from 1988 to 2002 , the period which is divided into three periods : 1988-1992,1993-1997 and 1998-2002. Focusing on the development of the industrial industry over time , the study finds that: First , oil and gas mining industry and metal smelting and rolling industrial industry have long been the leading industries of Xinjiang , but with the advance of industrialization phase , leading industries have changed orderly , and the established pattern of industrial industries singly relying on the advantage of resource is gradually being broken; Second, Xinjiang's economy showed a trend of heavy industrialization , the industrial chain of traditional industries based on the advantage of resource had being extended , but Xinjiang's economy remains highly dependent on the extractive industries and raw materials industries ; Third , processing industries such as the transportation equipment manufacturing industries are becoming the leading industries because of their sound growth capacity and association capacity.To solve the problems existing in the development of Xinjiang leading industries , several advices are put forward : First, having a correct understanding of the relation between natural resources and leading industry development , and a sober understanding of the defects of resource-based economy ; Second, extending the industrial chain and upgrade the traditional industries ; Third, paying attention to the new industries, and nurturing new economic growth points. |
