Regional industrial structure transformation not only determines the region's economic growth rate and effectiveness, but also restricts itself to a large extent with economic growth and gradually sophisticated capabilities. Since reform and opening up, with the high-speed economic growth of Xinjiang, at the same time there are irrational industrial structure, the structural contradictions have become increasingly prominent issue, The 11th"Five-Year"Plan of Xinjiang Autonomous Region clearly confirmed that we should adhere to the structural optimization of the main line, and further optimize the industrial structure and coordinate the development of relations between the three industries.This thesis uses the evolution of the industrial structure as the theoretical basis ,analyzes the three industrial conversion trends of Xinjiang and its 14 areas after reform and opening up .According to the structure of three industries in 2005,the thesis divides the whole region into 3 kinds of models"del shape""drum shape"and"工"shape. By analyzing the impact of a regional industrial transformation of variable factors, it points out that the changes of demand structure stimulate the industrial transformation, the changes of supply structure restrict and impulse the transformation of industrial structure, and scientific and technological progress is the fundamental factors to industrial transformation.The research object of this thesis is the 14 areas of Xinjiang, it uses the theory of regional economic and industrial structure as a guide, by collecting relevant data and using the methods of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, the thesis compares the trends, speed, direction, capacity and other indicators of Xinjiang's industrial structure transformation, clarifies the relationship between economic growth and industrial transformation.With the method of empirical analysis, the thesis compares the transformation of industrial structure in Xinjiang, calculates the coefficient of Xinjiang's industrial structure transformation speed and direction. With software SPSS, the thesis uses the methods of factor analysis and related analysis to analyze the relationship between the ability of Xinjiang's industrial structure transformation and economic growth. At last, to bring forward policy proposals of Xinjiang's industrial structure transformation upgrading.
