On The Contemporary Evolution Of Industrial Structure In Northwest China And Its Economic Growth

The current economic development of the northwest region faces both restrictions of systems and industrial frames .Therefore, it is very important for the promotion of optimization and upgrade of the northwestern industrial structure to sum up the evolution peculiarity of the northwestern industrial structure, and feature the evolution relationship of northwestern economic growth and the industrial relations.This essay mainly discuss on western industrial structure , solves the problem by using the methods of combining history and modern industrial economic theory, and analyzes the evolution of the industrial structure in the northwest of China, the structure's characteristics and effects on economic growth also been discussed deeply. Based on the state of the industrial structure, it's changes and mechanisms, the evolution will be divided into three periods, the first period is " the evolution of the industrial structure in planned economic environment ", this period have the distinguishing feature as inferior and irrational industrial structure. Heavy industry-dominating industrial become self-enclosed and self-cycled. With the evolution of the industrial structure and economic development in the northwest, the status of north-west region in the national economy has raised. However, this period of economic growth effects of the industrial structure is too small, mainly because the initial structure had constraints, the lower economic efficiency and industrial systems existed functional obstacles and advanced structural adjustments arising from industrial irregular conversion. The second period is the "industrial structure evolution in 'economy transition' ", the period was characterized by the evolution of the industrial structure became a positive circle; Market-oriented structural conversion process evolving industry linkages; the role of trade growth on the evolution of the industrial structure enhanced. As a result ,the evolution of the northwestern industrial structure made economic growth faster than the previous. But compare with other regions' industrial structure evolution, there are so many differences in the depth and quality, it leads to larger economic gap between northwestern and other regions. Third period is " 'a socialism market economic system' process of industrial evolution", this period of evolution was characterized by advanced industrial structure, regional structure openness and interactive have enhanced. For this reason, in the 3rd period economic growth fastest in the northwestern and per-capita income increased. Industries isomorphic relations problem has weakened. The economic growth in this period inspirits that industrial technology upgrading promote the industrial structure evolution.
