Diversification is one of the strategies which vast majority of enterprises in the process of development and expansion will adopt of. Some enterprises based on diversification to be powerful, and more diversified enterprises did not achieve the desired effect, even in a defeat. With a large number of enterprises of diversified being failure and theoretical circles started to seek diversification strategy of success. But generally speaking, the diversification strategy has not achieved clear evaluation criteria which widely accepted by theoretical circles.The real of enterprise growth is a process where core competencies can develop and utilized rapidly and effectively. The core competencies influence its operating areas in a large part, particularly the diversification of the breadth and depth of its business. Enterprise development and expansion must be based on technical ability to nurture core competencies, and organizational management capacity only as a supplement. Core competency-based access to local competitive advantage, and then guide the enterprises from the corresponding diversified operations, and diversified business in the process of further cultivate core competencies. This cycle of growth has begun to clear the theoretical ideas, but not yet in shape, pending further research and development. This paper attempts to analyze the enterprises diversification status quo at home and abroad at this stage, based on the core competencies, the life-cycle, diversity and technology life-cycle, we achieved a study of enterprise ' s diversification on life period of core competence of technology, and strive to provide theoretical reference for Chinese enterprises in the world how to better forms of the diversified business.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part described the research background, research methods and content of the framework.Theories are introduced in the second part, based on core competence theory, the life-cycle theory and the theory of diversification, bringing forward the existence mechanism of the life cycle of the core competencies, the features and types of their core competence of diversification enterprise, as well as new enterprise how to diversification in various stages of the life cycle of core competencies.In the life-cycle theory of technical support, we achieved a study of enterprise's diversification on life period of core competence of technology ,elaborated on how businesses in different stages of the life cycle of different diversification strategies to develop new diversity to the core capacity theory. On this basis, we give views on the technical innovation and overcoming technology rigid.Based on the analysis of the previous part, the forth part "Canon takeoff" verify the correctness and feasibility of the theory.Based on a summary of this paper, the fifth part obtained some constructive conclusions. The innovation proposed in this paper is the study of enterprise's diversification on life period of core competence of technology. Gradually develop core competence based on its own technology, and adopt different diversification strategies at different stages of the life cycle, and develop new core competencies by it, this is the idea of the theory. Enterprises can not only sustain the power of development by diversification, but also guarantee healthy and orderly of development because of nurturing its core competence, so the theory has a strong practical significance as a guide.
