A large number of researches show that enterprise's key competitiveness and diversification strategics have inevitable connection and inherent relation. Key competitiveness is the source that enterprises get and keep the advantage of competing for a long time. It is foundation and prerequisite of diversification strategics too. Diversification is divided into relevant pluralism and non-relevant pluralism on the basis of key competitiveness. A large number of practices prove that it can make better result to put pluralism among frame of competitiveness.Diversification is an idea and model of corporation development. Fostering core competence does not mean corporation only concentrate on operation of a special industry. Based on analysis of the relation between core competence and diversification strategy, based on foster and we find that their relation is very close; Diversification is improvement of core competence, and core competence also extends advantage through diversification.It constitutes the source and basis for the corporation to maintain its competitive edge, and is deeply rooted within the corporate organization. It is characterized by such features as value-superiority, emulation-proof, inseparability, and effect-overflow, dynamic development etc. After China entering the WTO, our new high-technology enterprise is put into a new competition environment, and it has to face to new challenge and opportunity. As a result, cultivation, protection, practice and evolution of its core competence is being more and more important.This dissertation is mainly talking about the new subject of the relation between the development of high-tech enterprise and core competence, requirement for the high-tech enterprises to build core competence and the practical meaning of core competence theory for the high-tech enterprises of our country on the basis of researching the development of enterprise strategy theory. This article is carrying on the foundation for comb to the existing and domestic and oversea business enterprise core competencies theories and diversified theories research result up, analyze to the high-technology enterprise and core competence of our countries first, put forward the method of high-technology enterprise grows and protects core competencies. After that, based on the analysis to the core competencies of high-technology enterprise development strategy to anatomize the motive domestic high-technology enterprise carries on diversified strategic choice. At last, after analyzed the interior and exterior conditions that domestic high-technology enterprise diversificationshould be equipped with , put forward a set of more intact strategic method and venture-control method during the process high-technology enterprise diversified implement. Moreover, bring up a number of diversified countermeasure and suggestion for domestic high-technique business enterprise on the basis of demonstration analysis.
