Research On Frame System Of The Dynamic Balanced Scorecard Based On Corporate Life Cycle

This thesis combinates corporate life cycle with the balanced scorecard, studies the frame system of the dynamic balanced scorecard based on corporate life cycle. The balanced scorecard appears more than ten years. It from the initial performance evaluation tool develops to become Strategic implementation tool. With the development of the balanced scorecard, more and more scholars research on the balanced scorecard. Domestic scholars and international scholars research on the balanced scorecard more and more thoroughly, at the same time the balanced scorecard increasingly extensive application. The balanced scorecard has become an important management tool. The mass of scholars think that the balanced card should have personality. Different industries and enterprises of the balanced scorecard should be different. With development of enterprise, the balanced scorecard also should be different. This is not in-depth study.This thesis defines the various stages of life cycle in enterprise. And this thesis analyzes the strategy in the various stages of life cycle. This thesis builds up the different balanced scorecard based on characteristic of the different stages and the strategy. Converting various the balanced scorecard forms dynamic balanced scorecard system. The dynamic balanced scorecard based on corporate life cycle makes up the shortage of study currently, perfects the balanced scorecard. Designing the balanced scorecard based on corporate life cycle contributes to extension corporate life span.This thesis is taking standardized research approach, combining case research approach. In the beginning of thesis, this part studys and analyzes all the theories about the corporate life cycle and the balanced scorecard. And this part brings forward the content thesis will study on. The content research frame system of the dynamic balanced scorecard based on corporate life cycle. The main contents of this thesis is divided into three parts. First part of this thesis defines the dynamic balanced scorecard based on the corporate life cycle. Firstly, this part analyzes the stages of the corporate life cycle. Dividing the corporate life cycle as four stages: the starting period, the growth period, maturity period and decline period. Secondly, analyzing the strategy of various stages of corporate life cycle. Lastly, this part defines the dynamic balanced scorecard based on the corporate life cycle, putting forward basic balanced scorecard and strategic balancd scorecard. Bacic balanced scorecard and strategic balancd scorecard constitute dynamic the balanced scorecard. Converting these balanced scorecard forms dynamic the balanced scorecard system. Second part of this thesis designs the dynamic balanced scorecard based on the corporate life cycle. According to the previous analysis, this part designs basic balanced scorecard of the starting period, the growth period, maturity period and the decline period. And according to the total strategy and the competition strategy, this part designs the strategic balanced scorecard. Each the balanced scorecard consists of the target, indicators of achievement and performance-driven elements. Finally,according to the basic balanced scorecard and the strategic balanced scorecard, forming the balanced scorecard suits to this stage of enterprise.Third part of this thesis implements the dynamic balanced scorecard based on the corporate life cycle. This part analyzes the dynamic balanced scorecard how to put into implement. And this part analyzes some problem that should notice in the implement. Then retrospecting history of Pepsi-Cola company. According to strategy and history of Pepsi-Cola company, this part verify the reasonableness of the design and the feasibility of the implementation of the dynamic balanced scorecard. In the end of this thesis, this part is conclusion and future studies.
