Optimization Model Of Ports' Functional Structure And It's Applying In Zhengjiang Port

As the trend of economy globalization is increasingly obvious and China speeds up the pace of modernization, the role which ports play in the national economy and regional economy development is getting more and more important. However, a lot of function of ports are not quite reasonable and redundant constructions are really serious, which in the certain extent has restricted the ports to promote the national economy and the local economy. At the same time, the domestic and foreign experts have not formed a complete system on the optimization research of the ports' functional structure. More over, as there lacks the effective union between various disciplines and has not formed the unified target selection standard for the quantitative analysis, the research technique for the ports functional structure is not very scientifical.In view of the above questions, this article establishes a set of quite complete optimization model of ports' functional structure from the angle of single harbor development, which bases on the regional economics, the harbor plan theory and the system engineering. This model can discover the superiority goods, the prop goods, the potential goods, the conventional goods and the inferiority goods of the harbor and point out the direction for harbor's function adjustment through carrying on the cluster analysis to the goods of the harbor. Simultaneously, this model can modify the direction for harbor's function adjustment, considering the future trend of various goods as well as national and local policy influence. Finally the model will set down the concrete optimization plan for harbor's functional structure and the result will direct the harbor to make function adjustment.After establishing the optimization model of ports' functional structure, this article also applies it into Zhenjiang port. Through the empirical analysis of Zhenjiang port, the article has obtained the adjustment scheme for Zhenjiang port's functional structure and put forward the related proposals and measures.
