The Research Of Industrial Cluster Competitiveness In China's Provinces

Nowadays,regional industrial clusters are driving the economic growth of the world. The countries who want to obtain competitive advantage can not only rely on the global enterprises but also the industrial clusters rooted in the country."Cluster"is dominating the world economic territory, which makes persistent competitive advantage in global economy root in local factors that cannot be duplicated by distant competitors,such as knowledge,relationship and corporation strategies.The advantage of industrial clusters has surpassed the low cost advantage and becomes the significant drive to attract foreign investment.World Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development is actively advocating and spreading the strategy of local industrial cluster development.In many nations and regions,industrial cluster has been or is becoming the new focus of industrial development.With the rapid growth of economics, it is a hot issue that academic field and government departments concern about how to improve the competitiveness of industrial clusters and promote regional economic development rapid,healthy and sustainable.Therefore,research on regional industrial cluster competitiveness has certain theoretical and practical significance.This paper mainly completes such work:1. We research on the related theories of the industrial cluster and the recognition methods of the industrial cluster competitiveness. Based on the revealed comparative advantage proximity, we propose the location quotient proximity. Then, we get the maximum spanning tree through program and get the product space structure graph.2. Based on the location quotient proximity, we analyze the agricultural product space structure and the industrial product space structure of China in 2000 and 2006. We also analyze the product advantages structure in some provinces.3. We take other methods to analyze the industrial cluster of the manufactures in China's provinces in 2006. We compare the industrial product structure graph and the industrial cluster of the manufactures in 2006. In conclusion, we prove that the method of location quotient proximity to analyze the industrial cluster is effective.
