The animation industry in China nowadays has developed very fast, and its scale now reaches 100 billion per year. The author focuses the research on the animation industry in the Pearl River Delta. First, the author points out the meaning of this research, and clean up the IMC theory. In the second chapter we introduce the status quo of animation industry in overseas, domestic and the Pearl River Delta region; indicate the lack of it in the Pearl River Delta. In the third chapter, we divide the cartoon customers into three categories which are youth, adult and children. According to this analysis, we focus on the animation industry marketing model and the means of communication. In addition, chapter five mainly gives some suggestions on the animation marketing strategy and how to realize the IMC. At last, we take a case of the foreign animation enterprise for example, in order to attain some useful experience for our domestic animation industry.During the "11th Five-Year Plan" period, Guangdong Province encourages independent innovation, and tries to be a resource-saving, full of culture society. Exactly, the animation industry is a creative and new industry which is much useful for the green GDP. What's more, the Pearl River Delta area adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao has a cartoon culture atmosphere. Therefore, with the high-technology and such nature conditions, is not only necessary but also very feasible to promote the animation industry in the Pearl River Delta region.
