| Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) plays an important role in China's economy, contributing significantly to the continuous development of it. In such a long time, when evaluating the significance of foreign investment, scholars often center on the direct contribution to the economic development of China while lose sight of the impact of technology spillovers through FDI. Based on the previous research, this dissertation uses FDI technology spillover theory to investigate its effect in China, taking regional factors as consideration to see whether it steps through the development threshold. Since countries all over the world pay more attention to attain advanced production technology and management techniques through FDI technology spillovers, to investigate FDI technology spillover effect and to provide effective suggestions will exert positive influence on taking advantages of FDI technology spillover effect, elevating FDI utility and boosting Chinese economy effectively and efficiently.Chapter 1 is introduction of the dissertation which mainly focuses on research background, significance, research method and innovative points. Chapter 2 is literature review of FDI technology spillovers which centers on two aspects of its related theories and reality, constructing the theoretical base of this dissertation and the premises for the empirical research. Chapter 3 is the analysis of FDI status in quo in China. Chapter 4 is the overall investigation about the existence of FDI technology spillovers effect in China. Chapter 5 is about the influential factors of FDI technology spillovers in China. Chapter 6 is the conclusion and suggestion part. |
