A Study On The County Economy Development Strategy Of Hanchuan City In Hubei Province

The development of county economy is vital important to stability and prosperity of the whole Chinese society. According to the studies on county economy and the situation of county economy developing in China, the strategy of"focusing on developing private business; propelling industrialization, urbanization and agricultural integration"has been regarded as the guideline to county economy development in Hubei Province since 2003. Hanchuan City is one of the cities in Hubei Province, so it has always adhered to the strategy for guiding the development of county economy in Hanchuan City.This strategy is an integrative and comprehensive guideline to the county economy development in Hanchuan City of Hubei Province. At present, Hanchuan is under the equal and stable international and domestic environment. Meanwhile the government policies of"Rejuvenation of central China"and"constructing Wuhan agglomeration"are both good opportunities for the development of Hanchuan. At the same time, there are not only the strengths of rich natural resources, stable social environment in Hanchuan City, but also the strength of location nearby Wuhan. According to the situation of county economy development in Hanchuan City, this strategy can be well implemented in certain degree. Under the guidance of the strategy"focusing on developing private business; propelling industrialization, urbanization and agricultural integration", there are some good advances of economic and social development in Hanchuan. However, there are still some deficiency in private business development, industrialization, urbanization and agricultural integration. The deficiency is mainly in the following aspects: the government administration and services are not consummate, the quality of private enterprises are not high ; the industrialization are low-level and some industries are not integrative; the small town construction is lack of money and reasonable planning ;the agricultural are low-industrialization and some leading agricultural industries are not competitive. To crack the deficiency and keep the continuous and rapid development of county economy in Hanchuan, these measures should be taken: improve the quality of private enterprises; strengthen industrial integration and constructing industrial park; make reasonable urban planning to prompt small town construction; improve public administration and foster characteristic industries.
