Research On Technology Innovation Of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group

Within market exchange system, the ability of offering high quality service to satisfy consumer's demand has great meaning both for the value fulfillment of enterprise and its healthy development, and during this service or product offering process, innovation or more exactly technology innovation is one significant function. And with the arrival of network environment and knowledge economy age, the function of technology innovation in the whole operation of enterprise becomes more and more important. In fact, many researches have proven that with the development of science technology, technology innovation has become the dominant content during market competition, and the enterprise with great ability of technology innovation to offer high quality product and service has more chance to win in the market-space. Under these conditions, being one famous firm with a history of more than 50 years, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) must also think much of its own technology innovation capability. It should keep a close eye on its technology innovation status, find its shortcomings, enhance its accomplishments, and only in this way can it win this competitive context and fulfill its development goals. And from a theoretical angle, this paper will test the validity of the cognitive model of technology innovation performance measure; hence, this research will have evident meaning both in practice and theory.In this research, paper starts with some necessary discussion of relevant researches concerning technology innovation (Chapter 1), then this paper illustrates the principal and operational considerations for cognitive model of technology innovation performance measure, and points out this model is such a model that it focuses the stakeholders involved in innovation process, and pays great attention to the management and competitive meaning of innovation and is one systemic performance measure model, and further puts forward the corresponding descriptive framework and measure index system, and at the same time, this paper also discusses its shortcomings briefly (Chapter 2). Then this paper investigates the basic operation background of CNHTC, and gives one verbal evaluation of its innovation status first, and then using the measure system given in Chapter 2, paper scrutinizes its innovation status from both subjective and objective perspective and compares these results with the above verbal result, and based these results, paper points out its accomplishments and possible problems (Chapter 3). And in Chapter 4, paper first discusses its innovation strategy and policies of CNHTC. Based on the theoretical model given in Chapter 2 and the survey results in Chapter 3, this paper presents some selective countermeasures to improve its innovation capability, including enterprise culture construction, BPR, the enhancement of cooperation, information system construction, and the like. Finally, this paper summarizes its accomplishments and points out its possible limitations.
