Since the Income distribution is not only an important link in the process of the economic growth, but also a key factor deciding the process of the economic growth, it is an important theoretical and practical problem all the time. The Income distribution can affect economic operation and development directly and the stable and harmony of society indirectly. Therefore, in order to make the economic development in good speed and promote the social fairness and harmony, we should attach much importance to the theory of the income distribution, try our best to reform and perfect income-distribution-system and rationally adjust the gap of income distribution at the same time of the fast growth of economy.To reform and perfect the income-distribution-system unceasingly, we must grasp historical evolvement of the income distribution wholly ,analyze the present problems to probe the concrete route reforming and perfecting the income-distribution-system. Under the system of the traditional planned economy, income distribution of PRC displays a characteristic of equalitarianism which restrained enthusiasm of the masses, made the developmental level of Chinese productive forces lag behind and gravely restricted the healthy development of social economy. With the ceaseless reformation and perfection of our income-distribution-system, the production factors such as labor, capital, technology and management have got the right of participating in income distribution according to contribution, and the new income-distribution- system which distributes according to one's performance as the main body with coexistence of various mode of distribution has ultimately been established within a frame of socialist market economy. This new system with the main characteristic of market-oriented operation and distribution according to one's performance and combining distribution according to one's performance with distribution according to production factors, not only boosted the liberation of our country's productivity pouring life and vigor into the development of our economy, but also promoted all of citizen's living standard, forging ahead towards objective of building a well-off society in an all-round way. However, with the change of the economic system and the great achievement of economic growth, there are many new contradictions and problems appeared in the field of income distribution, especially the expanding gap of income distribution. The gap of the income distribution is too large and even takes on a trend of polarization, which becomes a focus attracting the whole society's attention nowadays. The problem of big gap leads to differentiation in different income stratum, the members of society engender'mentality of hating the rich'as well as the twist of values, as a result, there is a contradiction between the poor and the rich, which brings hidden trouble and crisis to the building of harmonious society.To make society long stable and economy develop sustainable ,to resolve deep-seated problem restricting our country society economic growth, we must reform and perfect our income-distribution-system unceasingly. In the new situation, the urgent mission is to adopt vigorous measures reducing the income gap. In the process of deeply reforming the income-distribution-system, we must keep a foothold of pushing forward national economy development in a good speed, prompting the common prosperity, strengthening the construction of regulation and law, making the order of distribution normative, keeping the income gap from expanding and focusing on fairness especially.
