Steel pipe manufacturing industry plays more and more important role in national economy and social development. At present, there is a large distance in logistics operation between the domestic steel pipe manufacturing enterprises and the opponents in developed countries. Steel pipe manufacturing enterprises in our country have many problems, for example logistics cost is high, efficiency is low, and competitiveness is insufficient. Now the domestic steel pipe manufacturing enterprises are introducing lean logistics. But, for lacking of systematic and concrete theory in implementation process, the result is not as good as think. According to current situations above, this paper studied the lean logistics implement in steel pipe manufacturing enterprises, divided in lean production logistics, lean supply logistics, sales logistics, recycle waste stream logistics.Based on former research, this paper researches the lean logistics application in the enterprise. This paper sets about from argumentation of logistics and lean thinking at first, and discusses procreant foundation and connotation of the lean logistics; described the introduction of lean logistics implementation in the manufacturing. Subsequently the author regarded helping the company to implement alteration of the lean logistics as the instance, and applied the idea of management based on the lean logistics to assist to achieve the target. From the technology aspects, it presents the methods and tactics of doing lean logistics management. Set up the lean logistics system of this company. Re-formulate their production plans, improve the layout facilities site, optimization of material handling systems, improve the production control of the progress, introduce the specific original logistics status, and analyze of these issues, the initial proposed solution to eliminate waste.Through the implementation of Lean Procurement, improve relations with suppliers, and the establishment of strategic alliances; at the same time, improve the supplier's quality requirements and to reduce the time available inventory of raw materials as well as the amount of funds used inferior rate. Analyzed the company could get more benefits compared with the intrinsic company system, which are brought to the company and the supply chain by the lean logistics management. At last, it summarizes the whole paper.
