With the high-speed development of the bank card industry and the banking infomationization,self-service banking based on ATM(Automatic Teller Machine) and CDT (Cash Deposit Terminal) and others become a important channel of extending bank outlets ,shaping brand and serving customers.Transaction based on self-service banking will replace tradional transiation of banking,becoming the main channel of customer service.In recent years,what we see is all commercial banks have increased developing self-service banking,which offered their bank card customers convenient and quick services.But meanwhile ,we must see the high cost and the low efficency in self-service banking developing.In view of these facts,we must remodel the operational management mode of self-service banking. Core-competitiveness of self-service banking is determined by its operating efficiency,cost,the level of management and the profitability in the future.The problems in self-service banking management are mainly in the distribution of outlets,resources allocation and operation management, which limits the efficiency of development. This paper made a study of the plan of self-service banking construction and the problems exsiting in development and operation management,such as unbalance of layout, unreasonable site selection, simplex constitutution of self-service facility,low volume of transaction and low profit.The paper also apply theory of qualitative and quantitative analysis,such as AHP, integer programming, to raise a solution of the 4 sides: development planning of self-service banking and site selection , arrangement and design inside the self-service bank, constitutution of self-service facility, Upgrading the management of daily operation of self-service banking.Finally,the paper discuss the strategic planning in self-service banking of China minsheng banking Chongqing branch to make a sample of development planning in self-service banking of commercial bank.We should realize that only the sensitive management in self-service banking development can make the self-service banking become a efficient utility of raising service level,reducing operation cost, making up shortage of outlets and fostering a good and healthy company image.
