The Procurement Management Of International Project In CPPMEC

It has been more than thirty years from China carried innovation and opening policy. Nowadays China is stronger in economy strength and has more opportunities to take part in international project construction. In one hand, more and more international project corporation joined in our country's economy construction, in another hand, after China joined WTO, according to our country's "go out" progress strategy, our project corporation joined in overseas especially developing countries' economy and infrastructure construction. In these international projects, project management means is usually adopted. Along with the enlarge of the size and increase of participants, procurement work is becoming more and more important which brings all kinds of materials for the whole project and which can ensure time limit and decrease the cost for a project.In this essay, penman discussed the procurement management in China Petroleum Pipeline Material and Equipment Corp.(CPPMEC) which subject to China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau(CNPC). Firstly, correlative knowledge about procurement in international project field and EPC contract mode in CNPC are introduced and then penman introduced the international procurement work status in CPPMEC and in light with many international project cases CPPMEC ever joined deeply analyzed the procurement management in many aspects, and lastly put forward the problems and relevant means of settlement in CPPMEC's progress of procurement management.
