Since the reform and development, along with the establishment of market economy and the rural economic system reform, the productivity of agricultural labor has improved rapidly, and then the problem of massive rural surplus-labors in the countryside become apparent. What's more, for the growing rise of our country's rural population and the unceasing reduction of farming resources, which cause the problem to be more stern. A large amount of rural surplus-labors in China on the one hand cause the low efficiency of agricultural production and be the obstacle to our country's industrialization and urbanization process, on the other hand also became one of social instability factors in rural areas.In the past 30 years the transfer of rural surplus-labors has made great achievements in our country, but the transfer of rural surplus-labors is still a difficult mission at the present stage. Additionally for the imbalance of regional economy development ,which leads to four transfer areas of rural surplus-labors with different characteristic, which eastern, central, western and north-eastern part of China.This paper firstly introduces the status of the transfer of rural surplus-labors in China and the regional differences on the transfer scale, speed, industry structure and regional selection, and then tries to find the main factors that influence the transfer through qualitative and quantitative analysis, on basis of which we can go further more to discuss the chief courses of regional differences of the transfer of rural surplus-labors in China. Eventually according to regional development theory, in order to reduce the regional differences of the transfer of rural surplus-labors, adjusting-control system of regional economy, policy and law should be devised to seek the most suitable approaches for regional development, further to promote the development of the nation-wide transfer of labor force.
