An company holds a certain inventory not only could be allowed to cushion the uncertainty of production or sales from four aspects: the time, the place, variety and the quantity, but also may help the company to obtain the scale economy on the production. Although holding inventory massively is able to safeguard the supplies of production and enhance the grade of service, it can also reduce the economic efficiency of the company. company must have the ability to make quick response to adapt drastically competitive market. On improving service , reducing leading time, improving the quality of products , lowering production Costs, especially developing new products.XB Company's total supply costs of which inventory is the major aspect occupy more than 30% of the gross sales. For this matter, it decides the necessity and importance of analyzing the inventory system rigorously and optimizing the costs. It is the utmost potential channel for company to increase profits through the way to lower the costs in inventory management. If the inventory control is not done well, it will cause a large amount of funds to be occupied and used, and relevant manage costs to increase. Meanwhile, the quality of inventory management itself has an influence on the supply good's price, quality and punctuality, and then the products'price, quality and supply time, finally the competition of company.This paper maily goes through optimizing storage management basis and storage control basic means under supply chain condition to control the company's storage. Firstly, this paper states supply chain, supply chanin construction model and supply chain management etc.relevant informations, also, describes storage and storage control classification and storage control model.Secondly, this paper states company's product feature and production feature, also the current status of company storage management: great purchased quantity,higher purchased frequency,higher storage cost and lower storage velocity and so on. As per current storage management status, we found storage managment maily exsists in these defects: higher turnover storage rate, higher safety storage rate, serious goods lack and obsolete storage etc. issues.then we analyze the root cause.Thirdly, this paper states the optimization objective of company storage management: rationality,economy,best optimization and acquirability; the basic principle of storage management optimization: manage storage in whole system, share information in widest range,dispose storage uncertainty in sciencescientific system, manage storage in integration system and keep no gap between supply chain member connection.Finally, according to above mentioned requirement and the storage management status in our company, we put forward some basic measures to optimize storage management, apply the optimization measures into practice and take primary inspection for the final fruit.1,Apply ABC classification of storage control plan into practice, sort the whole stored materials into A,B,C kinds as per variety quantity and covered bankroll quantum, adopt distinguishing and primary and secondary means to manage all sorts of materials correspondingly.2,Apply economic order quantity(EOQ) into raw plastic material and hardware material storages control in our company, so that can reduce the quantity of turnover and safety storages.3,Apply JIT purchase and VIM storage managements into outsourcing fittings and self-manufacture fittings storages in our company, so that can shorten the purchased period in advance for outsourcing fittings, also shorten the production period of self-manufacture fittings, greatly upgrade the matching rate of material, and reduce company's storage quantity.4,Optimize storage management as objective, repeat to combine the operation flow of storage management system in our company, unify the warehouse managment in XB company, dispose storage management information system in integration means, finally, through improving and enhancing warehouse managers' culture diathesis to reach the optimization objective of whole XB company storage and management.For this optimization actions of storage management mentioned in this paper, it still needs to be furtherly checked and improved in XB company, for the upbuilded countermeasure model, we take too much abstract and suppose, it still exists in a certain difference from enterprise practice, if absolutely perfrom managment according to this optimization action, it will still exist in some issues. Along with company's further use, in conception's absord and matching tache maneuverability aspects, it maybe still need to be improved and adhanced.
