Following the advancement of the world economy's integration, the dependenceof the world economy's development on foreign direct investment increased gradua lly.Recently, foreign direct investment also become an important influential factor in thesusta inable development of the world economy, which therefore has been paidinternationa l attention, and the research on foreign direct investment has also becomethe focus of both academia and economics. After China entering into the World TradeOrganization, its economy will join in the world economy wider and deeper, andChinese enterprises will be also faced with more intensive internationa l competition.Since the Reform and Open-up, China has made great achievement in the introductionof foreign capital. While largely implementing the "Bring in" strategy, China shouldimplement "Going out" Strategy positively and make full use of domestic and foreignthe two markets and resources to develop foreign direct investment actively.Chapter 1 of this paper discussed the appearance and development of the theoryof developing countries' foreign direct investment, and summed the recent research upon China's foreign direct investment. In the recent domestic and foreign academicresearch, the majority scholars consider that, for developing countries, the level oftechnology capability determines the foreign direct investment of one country'smultinationa l corporations. The theory of comparative advantage is still thecomparable powerful theoretica l foundation of the Chinese enterprises' foreign directinvestment. In the field of practice, it is universa l considered in domestic academicthat China's foreign direct investment should speed up the pace of foreign directinvestment to developed countries, while strengthening the foundation of theinvestment on developing countries. For the industry distribution of investment, itshould choose some suitable field in the prima ry and tertiary industries to investment, while make use of the advantage in the secondary industry. In the field of influenceresearch of ma ny domestic scholars indica ted that the impact to Chinese macroeconomic of Chinese enterprises' foreign direct investment is not notable, but ishas positive impact to the other fields of the operation of Chinese economy, andpla yed an insignifica nt role. Chapter 2 discussed the scale, region, and industrydistribution of China's foreign direct investment, and concluded that while the scale ofthe China's foreign direct investment increased dramatica lly in recent years, it stillheld a minor share in terms of the flow and quantum of globa l foreign directinvestment, and the industry distribution is illogica l, which la ys over stress on lowtechnology,labor-intensive, foreign trade, resource exploitation and prima ryma nufacture, and the share of high-and-new-technology, technology-intensiveindustry is over low. Therefore, China's foreign direct investment has long dista ncewith the globe, even with other developing countries, and still has long way to go.Moreover, this chapter made profound analysis on the reason of rapid increase ofChinese enterprises' foreign direct investment la id in the strength growth of Chineseenterprises, the increased pressure of Chinese domestic enterprises, internationa l tradeissues, the increased trade barriers and the revaluation pressure of RMB. Chapter 3firstly analyzed elaborately the microcosmic result and effect of Chinese enterprises'foreign direct investment on the basis of some investigation materia ls. Secondly, itapplied Co-integration Test and Granger Causality Test to make demonstrationanalysis on the macroscopic result and effect of Chinese enterprises' foreign directinvestment, and concluded that the result and effect of Chinese enterprises' foreigndirect investment is not notable either microcosmica lly or macroscopica lly. The ma inreason came from the improper ma nagement of enterprises and the fundamenta lreason la id in the improper arrangement of government regulations and the lack inefficient policy support. With the background of economy globa lization,Chapter 5pointed out that under the influence of rapid ly increased drive of multinationa lcorporations and the introduction of internationa l capital.
