Enterprises' Capital Control Research

Mainland China enter into World Trade organization ("WTO"), Enterprises will face many business opportunity. However, it also faced many challenges especially in capital management and control aspects.Firstly, Enterprises mostly lack of capital management and control knowledge. They have shortage experience in preparing capital budget. Even though they know how to prepare, they do not have well-control over it. Therefore, capital cost is out of control. Secondly, Enterprises' people do not have well-training in preparing capital budget, it causes great difference between actual and budget.Under this re-search, I use one of Hong Kong listed public companies - Henderson Group as a case study to understand how they do capital control. Henderson is a famous, diversified group which includes Construction, Rental income, Hotel, Department Stores and Communication Technology industries in Hong Kong. I hope through this re-search can arouse Mainland China's enterprises to pay attention to capital control so as to increase their companies performance and market competition power.
