Synergy Research On Cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions Of Chinese Enterprises

With the development of globalization, cross-border mergers and acquisitions has been the major method for multinational companies to implement its internationalization strategy. Especially in the world's fifth wave of mergers and acquisitions, cross-border M & A has surpassed green investment as the main way of direct investment. In order to strengthen the market power, access to resources, improve efficiency and seek strategic assets, more and more multinational companies now use cross-border M & A, a major strategy, as a way to enter the world market and expand its competitive edge. At the same time, in particular, in recent years into the 21st century, the Chinese enterprises go overseas at a rapid pace. It's the time for Chinese enterprises to march and invest out of the door. Cross-border M & A in recent decades is always the international economic hot spots, particularly the recent Chinese rapid economic growth, many industries have been the key point of time. Coincided with the 30th anniversary of the reform and opening-up, the government is fully aware of the importance of China's own industries and brand development and growth. It is clear that it's essential to guide our outstanding industries to invest and implement cross-border M & A business so as not only to expand overseas markets, but to take longer make up for our own weaknesses, strengthen ourselves and enhance our brand image. Synergy is the tool to measure the success of cross-border M & A. Scholars at home and abroad also have some research, but the empirical study of China's foreign investment in cross-border synergies is still in the exploratory stage. In this article, I will use the authority database to collect various data and make qualitative and quantitative analysis for over China's cross-border M & A synergy by qualitative and quantitative methods. Then I will resolve the status of cross-border M & A synergy of Chinese enterprises. The research shall be a firm foundation for deeper studies in the future.
