Moreover, the theories on inventory management popularly put on practice in lots of companies; it brings good effectiveness into companies.However, this theories of stock management be rarely used in Automobile spare-parts management, specially, in the end of Automobile supply chain, that means hardly used in the brand car distributor's auto spare-parts stock management, that can not match the considerable development of domestic marketing of cars. According to the characteristic of brand-cars distributor's auto spare-parts stock management, theoretically & practically, this paper studied on spare-parts management concerns as following aspects. Firstly, the paper introduced research background of the project, research signification & research status, research content, and research method that set up the foundation for research. Then, the paper expatiates the theories relevant to spare-parts management concerning the definition of inventory, safe-stock, the forecast and control on inventory quantities. Then, combined with the practice background of sales company of Tri-Ring, based on theories of category management, safe-stock, replenishment & information-based inventory management, the paper researched on the spare-parts management in Sales Company of Tri-Ring, analyzing spare-parts classified, control of spare-parts stock, added purchase of spare-parts, conservation of spare-parts, inventory management of spare-parts, spare-parts management of flow-in & flow-out of inventory, information management of spare parts as well as the problems in spare-parts management. At the end, this paper put forwards management countermeasure and improvement suggestion on spare-parts management in Sales Company of Tri-Ring.
